Have Zionists taken over 'official' national political blogging sites in Canada?

For those of you who have been following along (and for those of you who haven't... catch up, by reading the last 3 or 4 posts) you should know by now that my earlier post...

http://blog.johnprince.ca/2009/09/canada-should-be-ashamed-for-kowtowing.html

caused quite a stir in political blogging circles, especially on Liblogs and Bloggingtories where I was tared, feathered and basically 'crucified' by the powers that be in those circles, lead by political Liberal bigwig (my shit don't stink) Warren Kinsella.

Let me recap for those who didn't follow along completely. I, in essence, posted the above linked post on Blogger that Liblogs essentially copied and posted on their site for several hours, until Mr. Kinsella (the darling Guru of Liblogs) complained (by way of throwing his weight around and threatening to deprive everyone of his 'blessed' presence by demanding to be removed from Liblogs unless my 'offensive' post was removed (although, I understand some were cheering at this prospect :-)). The old, I'm taking my ball and going home routine), after which my post was subsequently deleted from Liblogs without notice, explanation or justification, as was Kinsella's initial complaint, along with all traces that my post ever existed.

Personally, I could care less as I do not believe I have ever posted anything there and only occasionally frequented the site (too many 'yuppie' "establishment" lawyer types for my liking :-)) . But seriously, what disturbed me was not only the manner in the way things were handled (that if the shoe was on the other foot, I'm sure these people would have been up in arms crying discrimination and racism louder than a Bingo winner discovering she had a winning card. And yes, lets not forget the worn out 'anti-semetic' line these people love to use that is a catch all and be all for any given situation, including being used to 'unfairly' describe my post), but the obvious arbitrariness, arrogance and total bias that was shown towards me, and my god given right to express an opinion different from theres, without being censored.

From what I now understand, the people running these 'official' national political blogging sites, along with their 'groupies', routinely push the Zionist agenda while censoring all opposition. Where for example, on the one hand they allow Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's recent speach to the UN to be placed word for word on their blog site(s), but delete my blog post, because it contains a link to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's speach???

Without belabouring the point any further, as stated, the blog administrator of Liblogs (the 'official' Federal Liberal Blog site) deleted my post (and followup posts) and subsequently went on a 'social media mission' proudly proclaiming his actions as being justified, because he is a Jew, and therefore entitled.

"As the Jew who owns and operates Liblogs, I'm insulted you would suggest that post was official. I removed it as soon I read it."
Jason Cherniak

The war for the public mind using 'political censorship' as a tool, has no business in 'democratic' public blogging forums. But apparently this concept is lost on these people (and the Federal political parties involved here), in their zeal to be 'good little Zionists'.

We are all 'debt slaves' now... for life

Yesterday, I briefly watched a program dealing with Canada’s failed democracy. Andrew Coyne, who is a well known political columnist, and other bigwig panellists discussed with the audience and with others from across the country, ways of fixing our troubled democracy.

I found this interesting, not only because I have been speaking out on this very issue for some time, but that I had done a blog comment on this very subject that day at:

http://simonesanoubanebloggingpractice.blogspot.com/2009/09/dear-mr.html?zx=f45e650b69f036f8

In part, the following is what I had to say in reply to it being suggested that I was a STRONG Liberal...

----------------------
For your information, I am not a STRONG Liberal, despite my rhetoric. I am just a realist who believes they are the lesser of two evils. In fact, I dare say both the Liberals and Conservatives are nothing more than different sides of a similar coin. They are both crooks who are controlled by the ‘hidden hand’. But at least the Liberals are my kind of crooks... “The only difference between the Liberals and the Conservatives is that the Liberals allow the poor to be corrupt, too."
Unfortunately, today in Canada (and The US) thanks to TV and for the convenience of TV, you can only be one of two kinds of human beings, either a liberal or a conservative. That needs to change!

-----------------------

Things need to change is right. But are they going to? The fact that people are openly discussing change is a positive sign, but are the powers that be going to allow it? I doubt it! The only way real change is going to happen is when we take back our country from the foreign vested interests who control and exploit it for their benefit, not ours.

Our governments are a joke, being on the one hand impotent to effect real positive change, and/or on the other hand being co-conspirators who are only to willing to betray us all for a few shekels. Canadians have lost interest in participating in the democratic process and have consistently over the years stayed away in droves from voting, and more than likely will do so again and probably in greater numbers, the next time they are forced to go to the polls. Rick Mercer’s story of the seaman ‘Elections aren’t the problem, our possible choices are’ attests to this fact (see blog post below).

Why is this? Why is there so much apathy among us? I suggest it is because people are not stupid. They see the hypocrisy, the corruption, the futility in trying to change a profoundly sick society as Canada has been allowed to become.

It has been said, “There are two ways to conquer and enslave a nation. One is by the sword. The other is by debt.” The States and Canada and its people have all fallen into this latter scenario, summed up best by the following humorous quote, on an otherwise serious situation:

“I'm living so far beyond my income that we may almost be said to be living apart.”

In the old days they had things like Jubilee’s, a time of renewal, a chance to start over again fresh, where all debt was forgiven, and you started anew. Today, we live at a time where there is no forgiveness. There is no starting over. Because today, We are all debt slaves now... for life. So sad, to bad!

Oh, well! If they don’t start sharing the wealth and give us what we want... and soon, we can always borrow Lady Guillotine from the French, and start fresh that way... can’t we? :-) Hail Spartacus!!!

Wealth will be redistributed, either by politics, or by revolution.

Elections aren't the problem, our possible choices are

Having had a recent 'fling' with the Zionists, scary Tories and my 'comrades' at Liblogs, I too can relate to the seaman in Rick's story below.

From Rick Mercer

He could have been anywhere from fifty to sixty-five years of age, he has worked his entire life on container ships in the St Lawrence Seaway, and he put three daughters through university. He has at different times in his life voted for three different political parties, and standing on a wharf in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia he told me that if there is an election this fall he is going to do something he has never done.

He's staying home.

He summed up our current crop of political leaders this way: "If all three of them were in the water, I'd be hard pressed not to watch them drown."

And he happened to mention he goes to church on Sundays.

This is not a man who is suffering from voter apathy; this is a hungry man, with a seafood allergy, looking at the menu from Red Lobster. He just can't go it.

For years now, after every election, faced with increasingly dismal turnouts, journalists and pundits ask the same questions: Why are Canadian voters staying home? What is wrong with us?

Maybe it's time to ask not what is wrong with Canadians, but what is wrong with our leaders. Or better yet, let's just start placing the blame squarely at their feet.

It's not like we choose the leaders, the parties themselves choose them. And apparently this is as good as it gets. No wonder people are apathetic. Elections aren't the problem, our possible choices are.

It may be a myth that the Inuit have 100 different words to describe snow; it is an absolute truth that people on Parliament Hill have twice that many words to describe Stephen Harper's various levels of angry.

We have a minority government who bombards us, practically year around, with campaign style ads that are more vitriolic and personal than anything we have ever witnessed in Canadian history.

When it comes to issues that Canadians care about – the economy, Afghanistan, heath care, medical isotopes – there is a campaign of misinformation that qualifies as pathological.
When asked the philosophy behind our Prime Minister's communication strategy, Harper's former campaign manager Tom Flanagan, summed it up with the phrase "It doesn't have to be true; it just has to be plausible."

Parents of Canada, make sure you impart that little nugget to your kids before they head out to school tomorrow.

Voting Conservative is not a problem for a majority of Canadians, we've done it before. Voting for an angry guy who thinks we're stupid and will believe anything? That takes some getting used to.

Voting Liberal is certainly not a problem for a majority of Canadians either.

In fact the Liberal party got so used to the notion of Canadians dutifully electing them, they forgot that any other scenario was possible. For Liberals victory was just something that happened forty odd days after an election was called; much in the same way the rest of us are fairly confident that the sun will rise tomorrow.

The Liberals should have a bit of an advantage this time around. Having been beaten badly in the last election they quickly took Stephane Dion out behind the barn and he hasn't been seen since.

Immediately afterwards there was a puff of white smoke and the Liberal party suddenly had a brand new leader in Michael Ignatieff. He is by all accounts highly qualified, having dazzled many people at dinner parties for decades. Michael Ignatieff is, as we speak, surrounded by a brigade of young people in pointy shoes and designer glasses who work for him, worship him and twitter about him. Why we should vote for him? I've read the tweets; I've yet to see an answer.

Those of us who view politics in part as a blood sport believe that in the last election Stephane Dion made the classic error of bringing a knife to a gunfight. At least he showed up. So far Michael Ignatieff is hiding in the woods. Literally.

In the TV ads launched to counter punch the Tories we are treated to the image of Michael Ignatieff, alone, among the trees, free associating. His message, if I remember it correctly, is about the importance of ensuring that tomorrow's green jobs of today fuel yesterday's growth now. I think he might mention China too.

If that's the best he can do his next trip to the woods is going to involve a shovel and a bag of lime.

And then there's Jack. Canadians have never come close to electing an NDP Government federally and yet Jack dreams. This is fine, as dreams are important. The problem with Jack is we all saw how excited he got when he actually thought that he was going to be a part of a coalition government. It wasn't a normal excitement; it was the kind of excitement that scares other passengers on a plane. I don't know if this is what has turned off my friend on the Lunenburg wharf but it's a safe bet.

It wasn't a long conversation on the wharf; which is surprising. Normally when confronted with someone who justifies not voting I have an entire arsenal at my disposal. I'm a guy who has advocated mandatory voting. I have always believed in my heart of hearts we would be a far better country if everyone was obligated to take 20 minutes out of their life on Election Day to mark an x.

But that said, I can't help but feel great sympathy for someone who just happens to be standing on a wharf contemplating the fact that it's hard to imagine voting for someone when you can't even wrap your head around throwing them a rope.

'Big Brother' is alive and well in Canada

I don't believe what has happened since yesterday, when I had the audacity to voice an opinion contrary to the 'official position' approved by the State and Big Brother.

I've had hundreds of hits (fast approaching a thousand) from quarters I can't believe. Such as the Defence Department, numerous members of Parliament (including several from the Privy Council), Jason Kenney (has a link to me from his blog), Peter McKay (commenting about me on bloggingtories), in addition to numerous blogging sites linking to my post as well.

So far, as a result of my post Canada should be ashamed for 'kowtowing' to Zionist pressure, I have received a dozen or more comments filled with hate and vitriol from people I can only assume are committee members of Newspeak, which fits in with the above and suggests... "pervasive government surveillance and control, and government's increasing encroachment on the rights of the individual".

Why all this attention? What did I say? Was it the word... Zionist???

Big Brother is watching me... and he is watching you too!!!

Now what are you going to do about it???

"In Germany they came first for the Communists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist. Then they came for Catholics, and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up."

Lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.

Canada should be ashamed for 'kowtowing' to Zionist pressure

Canada should be ashamed of Harper's boycotting of the UN yesterday (and on Climate Change the day before), including instructing his subordinates to walk out during the Iranian leader's speech to the General Assembly.

Once again the conservatives have demonstrated they are nothing more than puppets, with Zionists being their puppet masters. Kowtowing is not my idea of leadership, but then again what would Harper and company know about that!? Failing to have a position on Climate Change, while also failing to demonstrate an independent resolve to at least listen to the other side, instead of following blindly the dictates of another, does not make me proud of my country. How dare these people do these things on my behalf! If the truth be known, I believe most people feel as I do.

I personally read Ahmadinejad's speech and found it to be thoughtful, spiritual and full of resonance with respect to our world situation. Calling a spade a spade is 'refreshing' and not something to be shunned and boycotted.

If you dare have an independent mind, then read it for yourself, and I'm sure you will see what I mean...

Kudos to Dean and his band of Merry Men

... Councillor Ward made a motion to direct administration to prepare the first draft of the 2010 budget to have no more than a 3% increase over last year.

Despite raising our taxes yet again (as I predicted would happen), Dean Ward and council needs to be congratulated for finally changing the budget process from one of everyone piling on 'wish lists', followed by the inevitable 'slash and burn'. A more orderly and systematic process is something that is long overdue. Good for you guys!

Councillor Ward said that he would like to see council approach the FCSS and Culture and Recreation Boards to ask for their input on who they feel should be awarded the Order of Crowsnest Pass at the Volunteer Recognition event this year.

Another excellent idea long overdue, as many of us feel the selection process in the past was flawed with political overtones, to say the least.

---------------------------------------

I must admit some good moves have been happening as of late from council that are long overdue and much needed, and the above two are examples of these. Kudos to Dean and his band of Merry Men, who have once again restored democracy to what has been an autocracy for far to long!

"Power of Democracy" i.e. We instead of I

Where has all the money gone?

According to this week's Herald Crowsnest council chamber remainders our municipality will have to borrow $1.9 million to get them through the remainder of this year and the early part of next year, due to their having a negative cash flow position.

In addition, due to a prolonged and obvious fiscal mismanagement of our reserves we are now in an untenable position, which the following story from Nathen Gallagher, and the earlier post on Dean's blog outlining the facts and figures, explains better than I can...

A report from the Mayors' Caucus in Edmonton indicated that the province feels grants to municipalities are too high in Alberta, and that municipal governments will face cutbacks in next year's budget. It was reasoned that municipalities have large reserves that can be drawn from to cover the difference. According to the report, total municipal reserves in Alberta are approximately $4.6 billion.
For specialized municipalities, such as the Crowsnest Pass, the report indicates that average reserves of $3089 per capita exist. Vanoni expressed some surprise at this figure, as the Crowsnest Pass only has approximately $200 per capita in reserves.

Over the years, I have spoken out and written about the dangerous slope we are on with respect to our municipal finances, including my most recent post on this subject appropriately titled Brother can you spare a dime... a few million?

Nobody on council seems to want to go there as far as explaining to us how we have landed up where we have with our cupboards bare, despite recent years of increased property tax increases and untold millions going into reserves during this time only to somehow have evaporated... disappeared, like a puff of smoke, with nothing visible to the eye to show for it.

Many may remember when Utley was Mayor that she never raised taxes (in all its many forms, including property tax) paid off all our debt so that we were debt free by the end of her term, and left us with millions in reserves as well.

Today, we are paupers needing to borrow from one paycheque to another just to get by, while at the same time owing millions of dollars in debt, while also having little to nothing in reserves in comparison to other comparable municipalities which have a minimum of 15 times as much as we do in their reserves.

If they were giving Oscars to the worst performing municipalities in our province (never mind country) we would be a winner for sure. But since they don't, does that mean we are all losers? The real losers will be the next mayor and council that will inherit this mess and who will have to deal with the fallout from all this 'good conservative government' that we have been subjected to over the years by this mayor and his cronies.

Today's new reality, "The greater good of the few at the expense of the many".

Highways of death

Darrel Johnston, a much loved and respected member of our community was killed in a traffic accident on Hwy 22 near Hwy 3 on Sunday. Two others died with him and a fourth died in a separate accident on the same stretch of road that very same day.

Back in 1998-2001 when I was on council, we formed the HWY 3 Association which was made up of communities along Hwy 3 from Medicine Hat to the Crowsnest Pass, did economic feasibility assessments, traffic volumes, etc. and lobbied hard our provincial government for the twinning of our highways including those leading into the Crowsnest Pass, but to no avail.

Even back then, never mind since, traffic volumes exceeded provincial standards due to increased traffic from tourism in Southern Alberta and the B.C. Interior, combined with the fact that the area is the number one export route for value-added goods leaving Alberta destined either for the coast or the U.S.

Since then the bodies keep piling up and still the provincial government does nothing, except to add the odd passing lane, which in effect does nothing more than what applying a band aid over a gaping wound would do.

We need real action. We need our highways twinned and we need it done yesterday! So people need not die needlessly, as Darrel and so many others have done.

Crowsnest Centre Board 'Disbanded'

Hot off the presses is news from a reliable source that the Crowsnest Centre Board has been disbanded.

Apparently, council at their last meeting on Tuesday passed the following motion:

"... in order to mitigate liability that the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass assert control of management and operations of the Crowsnest Centre."

I spoke of the need to do this very thing some time ago CTV: Crowsnest community groups face eviction and am glad to hear council finally took some action with respect to this matter. It is best for all concerned that an end be put to what many feel was an ongoing fiasco, to say the least.

I must say the board put up a tenacious fight and my only hope is that these same 'good' people put as much energy and determination in helping this community to turn the corner and move forward from here, in a positive manner, building a stronger and more viable community. One that is inclusive rather than exclusive, where all Crowsnest residents are made to feel they belong and are welcome.

The one serious conviction that a man should have is that nothing is to be taken too seriously.

Stealing a Leopard's lunch????????

The little guys don’t always get eaten!!

Seemingly unaware of the beast towering over it, the tiny rodent grabbed at scraps of meat thrown into the African Leopard's enclosure. But instead of pouncing on the tiny intruder, the 12-year-old leopard Sheena kept her distance. After a few minutes she tried to nudge the mouse away with her nose, but the determined little guy kept hewing away until he was full.

The extraordinary scene was captured by photography student Casey Gutteridge at the Santago Rare Leopard Project in Hertfordshire, England. The 19-year-old, photographing the leopard for a course project, was astounded by the mouse's behavior. He said had no idea where the mouse came from. He just appeared after the keeper had dropped in the meat for the leopard. Taking no notice of the leopard, the mouse went straight over to the meat and started eating.

Even when the leopard bent down and sniffed him, the mouse just carried on eating like nothing had happened. Even the keeper said he'd never seen anything like it before.

Project owner Jackie James added: “It was so funny to see - Sheena batted the mouse a couple of times to try to get it away from her food. But the determined little thing took no notice and just carried on.”The mouse continued to eat the leopard's lunch and showed the leopard who was boss. We can only assume that Casey received a grade of A on his project!

Susan Boyle ~ ''Wild Horses''

She's back!!! Susan Boyle's new CD is already on the bestseller's list on Amazon before it has even been released. Boyle's CD is called "I Dreamed A Dream" which is fitting since that was the song that gave her the fame she has now.

I think Susan is everybodys sweetheart. I know she is mine. She's Awesome!!!

Stephen Harper snubbed by the Whitehouse

Wakeup Canada! The world is shifting away from the right. It is time we did as well. Otherwise, we will be 'ignored' and left behind. Bushites, like Harper and company, no longer have a place in the new world order, except in the dustbin of history.

I do not know which makes a man more conservative—to know nothing but the present, or nothing but the past.

Gary the 'socialist' is back in the fold

Happy days are here again! My friend Gary Taje is a 'socialist' again. Read all about it here on his blog.

His bothers and sisters have brought him back in the fold, after years of living in the 'darkness' of conservative ideology. :-) It is just like in Luke in the Bible "... your brother was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found."

I must admit that once upon a time I was a conservative too (for about 1 month). I joined the party to help Gary when he ran for the Macleod/Livingstone conservative nomination in the last provincial election. I infiltrated their ranks in order to help Gary, as I figured a 'lapsed socialist' who lost his way would serve us better than any of the alternatives that were present at the time. Yes, I was a lamb among the wolfs and saw first hand how they devour their young. Only kidding! :-)

Anyhow, I'm glad for Gary. Don't know what this means with respect to his council position? Is the gang of three down to a gang of two now? Understand Gary is going to fill us in on this shortly.

Conservative 'bagman' in town spreading 'loot' to party faithful

Must be an election in the air? I see from this week's Promoter (and last week's... and the week before that...) Conservative 'bagman' (Ted Menzies) spreading the 'loot' to party faithful.

Some kind of system we live under where a ruling federal political party can use taxpayers money under the guise of creating 'employment' (ya, for fellow conservatives and their friends) to buy votes.

Just one little problem with this make work project. After the trails are in... POOF!!!... there go the jobs! No longevity here, but by that time the election will be over, won’t it?

Once again, we see a typical conservative stop gap temporary solution benefiting the well-connected, while doing nothing for the rest. Thank you oh great leader Harper for once again demonstrating how your government serves all the people... except separatists, socialists, liberals, greens and anybody else who is not a conservative... or a friend.

Is it any wonder why Harper and his gang have got to go!?

Conservatives do not believe that people can work together and help each other so they do not believe in government and law. Instead they believe in a dog-eat-dog, everyone on-their-own and out-for-themselves society where the strongest survive and it doesn't matter what happens to everyone else. So whenever conservatives gain power they abuse it and use it to get money for themselves and their friends.

Time again to kickback, relax and let the world go round

Well, after a week of fighting the good fight for 'god and country' its time again to kickback, relax and let the world go round.

For me, there is no better way to do that than to start by listening to some Marvin... :-)

Marvin Gaye - "What's Going On"
Mother, mother
There's too many of you crying
Brother, brother, brother
There's far too many of you dying
You know we've got to find a way
To bring some lovin' here today - Ya

Father, father
We don't need to escalate
You see, war is not the answer
For only love can conquer hate
You know we've got to find a way
To bring some lovin' here today

Picket lines and picket signs
Don't punish me with brutality
Talk to me, so you can see
Oh, what's going on
What's going on
Ya, what's going on
Ah, what's going on

In the mean time
Right on, baby
Right on
Right on

Father, father, everybody thinks we're wrong
Oh, but who are they to judge us
Simply because our hair is long
Oh, you know we've got to find a way
To bring some understanding here today
Oh

Picket lines and picket signs
Don't punish me with brutality
Talk to me
So you can see
What's going on
Ya, what's going on
Tell me what's going on
I'll tell you what's going on - Uh
Right on baby
Right on baby

Bridgecreek (River Run) in the news

On the six o'clock CBC news today, they had a story about Shire International Real Estate Investment Ltd (Bridgecreek (River Run)) that says the RCMP are looking into their activities with respect to fraud and misrepresentation. In addition, the Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) has suspended trade, and 500 investors have launched a class-action $75-million civil lawsuit as well.

RCMP probes allegations against Shire International

The lady who spoke on behalf of the investors in the news story, and who is leading the charge against Bill Bradley, Colin Becker and company, can be found here on her The Shire Saga blog.

Looks like River Run, Trout Landing (Bridgegate) will stay as is for the next few years, doing nothing more for this community than growing weeds, as this case drags through the courts.

This probably pleases the 'retrogrades' in our community who don't want to see growth and development, but it sure doesn't make the rest of us happy. That's for sure!

note:It has just been pointed out to me (see comments) that there is no connection between Shire and Bridgecreek. Good news! Maybe, there is still a chance for us yet as a community to see the growth of neighbourhoods, instead of weeds, at these two major 'proposed' real estate developments in the Pass. Still got our fingers crossed!

How hard it is, sometimes, to trust the evidence of one's senses! How reluctantly the mind consents to reality.

Class Warfare, coming soon to a neighbourhood near you

And the 'hits' keep on comin'! Greed à la carte. This time, compliments of our Alberta 'conservative' provincial government.

From what I gather from the radio today and from the article below, they gave this gal a $1.2m severance package (after serving only 9 months on a three year contract), plus a $250,000 bonus despite having served less than 1 year on the job.

They'll probably compensate by increasing the wait times at emergency wards by another hour or so, while also laying off custodial staff and nurses.

Superboard exec earns $1.2M severance deal

From what I understand, Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty is on a crusade against 'greed and corruption' within government departments. In fact, in this regard, he recently fired the whole Ontario Lottery Board. More Premiers should get on this band wagon and go after these white-collar 'criminals' whose culture of greed and entitlement has no place in a society where many today are suffering from recession and hardship.

In fact, the RCMP should be doing their job in this area as well, especially in the private business sector, instead of focusing all their attention to the 'evil' war on drugs that gives them 'huge' budgets and free reign to victimize ordinary people (who in most cases only harm themselves), while turning a blind eye to the real villains in our society (who harm others... and in greater numbers). Taser-totting cops who terrorize and victimize average citizens (with the governments blessing), while protecting and/or ignoring those who rape and plunder our nation, does not instill confidence in our system. In fact, it does the opposite.

History has shown us that countries (like Canada) which practice and condone 'cultures of greed' soon find themselves embroiled in 'Class Warfare', resulting from an exploited, disillusioned, disenfranchised and 'pissed off' people saying, "enough is enough... we are not going to take it anymore!"

If the consequences of greed are harm and pain, it is immoral. If greed is flaunted, when the pain is known, it is also sociopathic.

Buddy's 'diatribe'... or The pot calling the kettle black

This week's 'diatribe' by Buddy at the Herald against 'anonymous bloggers' is worth a read, for two reasons:

First, the author knows a thing or two about libel and lawsuits having been successfully sued on at least two occasions that I am aware of. So assumably the author is an 'expert' in this area, but surprisingly, the selective renderings he gives as examples are far from slanderous and defamatory, in my opinion. I doubt very much if most people would have found them 'objectionable' and that is probably why the blog administrator allowed them to be posted. But, hey, I'm no 'expert'.

Second, he seems quite oblivious to the fact that his paper has for years allowed 'anonymous' postings through their 'Bricks' & Bouquets section. Some of which, in my opinion, have been outright (or at the very least bordering on) slanderous and defamatory. But somehow in his mind that is ok? Do we have a double standard here??

So to sum up Buddy's attack against anonymous bloggers, we find his 'subjective' opinions on what is and what is not slanderous and defamatory is questionable, as is his 'blindness' to the fact that he was and still is a trend setter in the area of 'anonymous' posts, through his 'Bricks' & Bouquets section. If this isn't an example of "The pot calling the kettle black", I don't know what is?

In conclusion, the wonderful adjectives he uses to describe anonymous bloggers, such as: sneaky, lying cowards... who use the Internet to spread their vicious lies and opinions designed to humiliate and discredit citizens in the Crowsnest Pass, suggests this is what he thinks as well of those who send in comments to his paper, for his 'Bricks' & Bouquets section. How sad!

PC's Canada Wide = GREED, NEPOTISM & CRONYISM

I see that in Japan the people have ousted the 54 year reign of the 'Right', in favour of a party that is left of center. Pretty much what the US and countries in South America have done recently as well, as have others around the globe. World consciousness is awakening to the fact that 'salvation' will never come from the 'Right', from those whose god is 'Mammon'.

A 'small minority' who serve only themselves and their rich friends do not have the best interests of the 'majority' at heart. That is just a given! People are waking up to this fact.

Our local 'conservatives' for example have for years had the yokels under their thumb in believing they provide 'good governance'. All the while 'raping and plundering' to their hearts content, and then passing the bill onto us. Isn't that what Bush, Kline/Stelmach/Irwin, Harper have done to us over the years of their 'conservative' 'good government'? Everything for them and their friends but nothing for anybody else (except the bill) is not my idea of 'good government'. That needs to change! And it will.

People ask me why I give the conservatives such a hard time? Maybe, in part, it is because that is all they have ever given me. Tic for Tack! Since moving to Alberta and the Pass some 15 years ago, all I have ever seen here is GREED (Greed is the acquisition of a desirable good by one person or a group beyond need, resulting in unequal distribution to the point others are deprived) NEPOTISM and CRONYISM on a grand scale. If you are not one of the boys/girls then you are sh-- out of luck... not even 'crumbs' come your way. You have to be a 'conservative' to get anything here. To me, that is not the way it is suppose to be. Where is the 'equality' in that? Where is the 'democracy' in that? Where is the 'fairness' in that? No sir, things have to change here (as we see in Japan and the rest of the world) and they have to change soon!

This country, province and municipality needs to get with it and get it done. The longer we take the more they take! Get rid of them now!!

PC's Canada Wide = GREED, NEPOTISM & CRONYISM

Conservatives do not believe that people can work together and help each other so they do not believe in government and law. Instead they believe in a dog-eat-dog, everyone on-their-own and out-for-themselves society where the strongest survive and it doesn't matter what happens to everyone else. So whenever conservatives gain power they abuse it and use it to get money for themselves and their friends.

Afghan Idiocy In Four Frames

Best cartoon ever. Entire geopolitical situation perfectly summed up in four frames. Genius.
