That is exactly what they are turning this community into. They take a few bad events and blow them out of proportion. Then brain wash people into thinking a few messy yards is discouraging development in the CrowsnestPass. Now what you need is a few "Peace Officers" running around ticketing your ass for not shoveling your walkway or something else they can dream up. Thats their idea of turning this community around and generating revenue. I hope those people who couldnt wait to get rid of the previous council wake up now and realize what they have done. "Absolute power corrupts and power corrupts absoluely"
I also wanted to add that on the front page of Wednesdays Calgary Sun it featured a "Peace Officer" ticketing parked cars. They were in a snow removal area but their was some confusion around when the snow was going to be removed, didnt matter they were ticketed anyway. The Picture was a strong reminder and a prelude of what is coming here. Do these politicians all go to the same training academy.
Dick Burgman has an excellent letter to the editor in this week's newspapers regarding our community's forthcoming 'police state'. A must read for those concerned about the direction our municipality is heading for.
There you go. More right-wing conservative oppression by people who espouse "freedom". Freedom for them, oppression and tyranny for us. The technocrats are running amok... in this community and in this country.
