I'm talking to you Mayor and Council. For thee are sinners in the eyes of the people who you have betrayed and spurned. Judgement day is upon you (in eighteen months, to be precise) unless thee repent and mend thy ways.
Pretty heavy stuff for Easter, hey? :-)
But in all seriousness, we are all responsible for what we do (our actions) and eventually we must all pay the piper, so to speak.
Unless, we mend our ways and learn to be kind to our friends and neighbours (residents), instead of treating them as the enemy... or worse yet, as children. For it has been said, "kindness is the language the blind can see and the deaf can hear".
When we treat our neighbours as they deserve to be treated, we make them even worse; when we treat them as if they were who we wish they were, we improve them.

Perhaps you and i both have it wrong John-------"Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life. To mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you"----Thessilonians 4:11
It seems we do have it wrong for our time and age, for sadly today it is more fashionable and right thinking to do the opposite of everything that you quote from Thessilonians 4:11.
