Petition Presented - CTV Lethbridge - Nov.02/12

Well, yesterday the Crowsnest Ratepayers Association executive paid a visit to our provincial legislature in Edmonton to present the petition they gathered on behalf of residents here in the Pass.

Apparently the Minister was out of the province so it was not possible to hand deliver the petition to him personally. While there, our guys tried visiting with the man in charge of Protective Services (Fire Departments) who either refused to see them or conveniently made himself unavailable.

Nothing like dealing with politicians and bureaucrats who like our Mayor know all about Shuckin' and jivin', now is there?

Kudos to the Ratepayers executive for making the trip, standing up for our community, and for democracy!
